I’m trying to make a custom slideDoorTrigger lua. I need to register it in the i3d. I understand how to do a callback onCreate, however how do I source the new lua? If I simply try to source it via the modDesc I think it just loads the lua but it’s not calling it when needed at the trigger. I know the original script still works because it’s used at the vehicle shop.

hello guys, i am new here and new in this world of modding, i am trying to make a most realistic maintenance mod as possible for fs 25, wich include oil change, engine checkup and maintenance, tire wear, unfortunatly my knowleadge about coding lua and xml is very limited so i reach a point that i cant move forward. i am here to see if someone could check my code and help me finishing the mod. i can provide the work for those interested to help and give them the credits to show their help

Probably a bit of a longshot given the absolute lack of resources on this out there, but is anyone able to help with scripting a functioning GUI? I've got the basics of my code done to read the data from the xml, and implement what the player might choose, BUT the gui bit to allow the player to pick their starting farm is just annoying AF.
