seb.barrault78@gmail.com Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Salut à tous.
Stef Posted March 21 Posted March 21 hi Boss! sorry but i dont undersant why sometimes it genereta this road in slope oblique. thanks for help me. i do only set center width
WrinkleysRule Posted March 21 Posted March 21 The image doesn't clearly show the problem you are refering to , however check that your spline has NO rotations (Rotate X,Rotate Y,Rotate Z) set in the Transform panel as it appears in your image that there is a value showing in the Rotate Y but nothing in Rotate X or Rotate Z.
Stef Posted March 21 Posted March 21 I'm attaching two images of the same spline; all the points on the spline have the same x, y, and z rotation and translation. As you can see, the spline creates a perfectly flat road, but after the curve, it forms a parabolic shape, and the road slopes to one side, just like on a NASCAR track 😄
WrinkleysRule Posted March 21 Posted March 21 I say again splines should have NO Rotation on any Axis, having any rotation on a spline will cause errors in operation. If you need to rotate a spline then Select the spline and freeze transform the rotation -- Edit - Freeze Transformations -- Rotate --NOTE ONLY THE ROTATE LEAVE TRANSFORM AND SCALE OPTIONS DE_SELECTED 1
WrinkleysRule Posted March 21 Posted March 21 "correct is 0 0 0" That is correct, splines must have have no rotation on any axis when selected in the Scenegraph.
administrator Posted March 29 Posted March 29 to rotate correctly u have to use Home key and end key on the keyboard @Stef
Stef Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I DID!!! THANKS Sorry, I have another question. In Blender, to color the road, I used the same files as in the FS25 American map—diffuse, normal, and specular—but I don't understand why the asphalt in Riverbend is light gray, while mine is practically black. In UV editing, I selected the lightest part of the diffuse map. Thanks again.
WrinkleysRule Posted April 11 Posted April 11 You have set up the material properties as they are in the Riverbend map, also be aware vertex paint is required for snow on the road mesh
