Stef Posted August 5 Posted August 5 hi. i need help, please. i'm making a new map. i dont understand why the SSC write me: splinepunkte 37-38 winkel am ende der verbindungslinie zu gross 89,6... the box are ok, rotation is ok thanks
WrinkleysRule Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Sorry can't help you with Spline Street Constructor as I have never used it, I prefer to create my own road layouts in Blender as it is much more flexible when creating junctions/roundabouts etc. Here is a link to the first part of a video tutorial (episode 1 of 5 ) by @Bauer Brown that might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bkQ-8RT-TE However I notice in the Spline Placement Panel you have Fixed Distance selected this should only be selected if you intend to place objects a fixed distance ( on the X or Z axis) away from the spline.
Stef Posted August 5 Author Posted August 5 Thanks again! I've seen that Blender works much better... but it seems difficult. Could you suggest some tutorials?
WrinkleysRule Posted August 5 Posted August 5 You could try this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u6h6RIq1D4 or just search YouTube for others
Stef Posted August 15 Author Posted August 15 I followed your advice and switched to Blender! 😄 I have one question: I created the plane and positioned it on the spline (curve). If I want to modify the end of the road, for example, widen it to create an intersection, how do I do it? When editing, it only lets me select the original plane, not the subsequent copies.
WrinkleysRule Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Checkout the roads splines tutorial in the mapping section, it contains a lot of information regarding blender
