Even if you could scale a spline I don't see how it would help in your case because scaling would affect the whole spline so you will still have the different distances between them that you already have albeit larger or smaller.

As I see it your options are , adjust them manually or try using the Create Duplicate Offset Splines script (it has been updated for FS25) which would mean deleting some of the splines you have already created, looking at your image this option would only affect one spline anyway.

Alles Klar

@Dickieboy Then why haven't you notified me of the problem ?????

Because I rarely used the script in 22, and it was easy enough to reverse the spline on the odd occasions I did. Apologies. I have a lot of hedges to place so will try downloading latest now.

I don't seem to be having that problem using 4splines from different directions I get this.

I do however have a problem with the first hedge being placed in an upright position  which is a throwback to an old setting of placing at the start that I have just noticed

which I shall now take a look at.

Thats good to know, the first post problem may be due to the problem I noticed in the earlier post, this first hedge problem (shown in the previous post) is caused by the point of origin being in the centre of the object and the script not allowing for this extra length.

I have an update nearly ready which should solve this problem just need to do some further tests to make sure it works as intended.

I have updated the Spline Placement Panel Combined script anp laced it in the zip folser on page one of this topic.

The update is just an interim fix that removes the first item placed from the start of the spline which alleviates the first object placement problems, however I will continue to investigate why this is happening.

hey, got an issue with terrain painting script, when Random texture is selected it throws this error.

update: also effects the foliage script

There are many reasons why this happens,

1. the textures are not solid but are partial (alpha layer controlled) and it depends on what position the  editor places the texture (in your cas you are using a single texture not a combined one)

2. When painting the terrain using a spline it depends on where the spline is placed relative to the terrain mesh as painting is only done on a full terrain mesh section.

The following image shows two identical splines painting identical textures and widths the two cubes are 2m wide to give a width reference

Left hand spline is using the editors inbuilt Paint Terrain by Spline script

Right hand is using the FS25 version

You will also notice that when painting the terrain either by script or brush you will never get a straight edge this is due restrictions detailed above.

If you wish to have a path with straight edges then you have to create a mesh in  a 3d modelling programme (Blender )texture and texture and import it as an i3d then after positioning select the terrain decal option in the Shapes tab.

There are many prebuilt roads/path kits available on line with straights and curves.

I don't have that problem

You have of course updated the scripts,

Any new script update requires ALL the scripts to be downloaded again from the zip file at the bottom of the first post replacing any previous versions.
